this is a bad idea, at least for that price. $10 a month, maybe. A year?

While the idea and motive are genuine, it just wont work.

When ever you go to a shop and say, hey im from here and here and I saw you RS add, they usually only give a 5% discount, which is useless anyway.

Its not really their fault either, the ammount they have to pay on import and levy fee's is insane, thats why everything is so god damned expensive up here,

also, there just arent that many shops up here competing with eachother, thus the prices will be higher,

if you go to seattle or any major US city, theres a performance shop every damn block, and they all have to compete, so their prices are dirt cheap,

up here is there is no competition, no cheap prices.

If you arent happy about it, you cant really change the system, but you can change yourself, start ordering things from the states for yourself, and you will save massive money.

Honda-tech sponsors are a great place to start, there are so many sponsors that you can price match them off eachother and keep doing it until they cave and give you at-cost pricing.

Because again, there is so much competition down there, there is no competition among the RS sponsors, and there arent enough of them, so the prices will always remain high.

Your pretty much wanting to pay RS a 10$ fee to do price matching and getting cheap deals for you, just ignore the middle man and do it yourself,

or I will be your middle man and charge you a 20% markeup! and it will still be 75% of the cost locally.

only a select few would pay.

I wonder if we shut down RS for a week how people would feel?

remember when RS went down because of a hacker? People went ape shit.

Would you still support the idea if it had no $ reduction in parts from sponsors?
