Just bought one. I dunno why. Now I have Note 2 and N4. $450 for brand new in box. Originally from Bell. Unlocked in less than 60secs.
Rooted and installed CarbonRom. May switch back to Touchwiz ROM though. We'll see how it goes. Guess I should sell my N4. INT version has so much more development though that's for sure.

What's a good rom to use? Thinking of trying out slim bean. I don't to lose the slips screen but the Samsung app that comes with phone is lagging the phone.

The note should be used more as a tablet than a phone, unless you wear baggy pants. I love this thing tho, reminds me of the 80's cell phones that you hold a brick to your head lol.

man my phone is a huge brick in my pants now.
i bought an extended battery and battery door to enclose the 128GB sd card so it looks better now. friggin slippery tho. not running a case but using a "Glass M" tempered glass screen protector.
nice long battery life tho and doesn't look like complete shit anymore
i am using the OEM ROM so battery life is less than spectacular. I need a good OEM based rom so i can still use my exFat files system on my SD card.

I'm using CarbonRom with 64GB formatted as FAT32. Just did it in TWRP recovery.
BTW. Where'd you buy your Glass M screen protector?

BTW. Where'd you buy your Glass M screen protector? | the glass M came from a friend traveling from Vietnam. so i dunno where you can buy locally. the closest thing would be the Glas.T brand for around $30. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...2177680&type=3 http://www.iphonecase.com.my/apple-A...ne-5_187_13769
Glas T http://www.spigen.com/catalogsearch/...ass+for+note+2
NOTE: they don't make one for the Note 2
so worth it tho. feels like the phone's naked. slides like grease moose poop.
oh and i cant format the card to anything but exFat. i tried on my PC and the Android OS just laughed at me. so im rocking the rooted stock OS.

i can't decide which to try ... beanstalk or carbon... and with which kernel.
The S-pen functions that I use most are jotting down some notes when on a phone call, and drawing an outline for copy/pasting a selection on screen. Can I flash this function/zip back on or is there an alternative?
