Warnings?

Hi. I'm an N Driver and I have been pulled over 2 times. Once for 'excessive speeding' but he just asked me for my liscence, and verbally warned me. He didn't ask for registration, and didn't give me a warning ticket.

Another time, I went through 2 ambers 10k over the limit and he did the same thing, no warning ticket, just verbally warned me.

Do I even have anything in the police system or 100% clean still?

ilovebacon 06-04-2012 10:34 PM

Just take it as a 2nd chance. Hope u learn not to speed anymore.

AW607 06-04-2012 10:55 PM

It's just a slap on the wrist, nothing sticks. Like ilovebacon says, take it as a warning, because it might not be a warning next time

JDMTrueLove 06-04-2012 10:55 PM

I've pretty much learned the speeding / fucking around is not going to get me anywhere when I totalled my honda civic with a Semi :lawl:

The excessive speeding and seeing the police lights made my heart stop, so i'm good to go nowadays.

im happy to be alive lol

Karma69 06-05-2012 08:02 AM

100% clean, your so lucky ! most police officers would of gave you a ticket already cause you are a new driver.

zulutango 06-05-2012 08:48 PM

I excessive speed and you ran 2 yellow lights. I predict a very expensive future and lots of crashes if you keep driving like you do. You don't seem to take hints or your driving responsibilities very seriously.
:speechless:

wow an N driver and you got off the hook so easily, TWICE.... those cops must of gotten laid.. haha... j/k

dont do it a 3rd time... coz you know what they say, 3rd times a charm!!!

freakshow 06-06-2012 09:33 AM

Just to clarify what the OP is asking, nothing is on file as in, there is no record of prior warnings?

Quicksilver 06-07-2012 12:05 PM

there will be a record of a search when they pull up your plate.

dvdjels 06-07-2012 01:44 PM

the op must be lucky. i got pulled over all the time back then for random checks. And this was in broad daylight..

Dragon-88 06-07-2012 03:42 PM

Your lucky now, but if I were you I would stop with the speeding and running yellows.. Your an N drive with very little driving experience. If you want to learn how to control your car and have some fun join the vcmc autocross or hit up the local track nights..

Ill make short and easy if you get busted with a speeding ticket, guarantee you will also have a 3 month suspension because of your novice status..

Kidnapman 06-07-2012 03:46 PM

Shit man, very lucky indeed. All the Ns I know of have all been given hell from the popo.

BinsentoW 06-07-2012 03:59 PM

Ive gotten 7 warnings from police before. 4 of those were by 2 diff police (2 and 2).
I have gotten about 3 tickets though :(

AW607 06-08-2012 12:26 PM

I only got one warning ticket when I had an N, and that was from driving an extra friend home in the middle of the night. The one after that was a $500+ ticket :/

I've gotten one warning for speeding a couple of years ago. Getting pulled over can be quite the heart stopper. The officer asked for my drivers license. I had the new type of license since I've gotten my class 5 and he asked me if I had just gotten it. I answered, "yes." He asked if why I didn't have an N sign displayed. I told him that my license is a class 5. He seemed like a real asshole, but I'm just glad he let me go without a ticket.

I drive 10km over 50 half of the time and I do sometimes go through a yellow light, when it's safe to. Sure, they can be considered bad habits, but the thing is to always be aware of your surroundings. I'm quite cautious about other drivers. Don't trust anyone.

firebird79_00 06-08-2012 04:44 PM

Ive had 2 warning as well, first was verbal and one was written. Going 41 over on the Mary Hill Bypass and 110 over on the Coquihulla (or however the fuck you spell it)

Honestly i dont do that shit anymore, i rely on my drivers license to much and wont go more then 30 over.

Someone told me if you have a clean record, they often let you off lighter. Dont know how true that is.

Transience 06-16-2012 10:44 AM

The OP must have a nice rack

xilley 06-16-2012 02:24 PM

all I can say is WTF thats BULLSHIT as I never got let go with a warning

mqin 06-16-2012 07:13 PM

count yourself lucky, and learn to not do this again. Getting verbal warnings are probably the best thing you could've received in a situation like that. Don't get used to it.

Edit: However as far as your records go, I'm positive that you're clean. Since no tickets were issued, thus none were paid off to admite your guilt.
