Visnovsky never wanted to be on NYI, he tried circumventing it earlier by citing his no-trade clause. Cam Barker getting a tryout is perhaps due to the veteran restriction during training camp and most proposals on hfboards and cdc involving edmonton players are stupid because edmonton players over-rank their own players.

Retweeted by Bob McKenzie. If Kovy doesn't come back to the Devils.. yikes, they are in for a tough season.

+1. A concentration of games + shortened season = higher chance of injuries

Canucks might benefit from having Fatigue Science as their sleep experts this year. Part of the contract with them states the company can't do business with any other NHL team.

I know the person tweeting for @DallasCowboys is trying to be funny, but that kind of humour will get you reprimanded, or even fired in some circumstances. Some of these PR guys are so damn stupid. And then he gets owned by the @DallasStars response!

Interesting article on Cam Barker. Didn't realize he was the third overall pick in 2004 behind Ovechkin and Malkin.

Wow, it's always interesting to look at a past draft and see who else was drafted that year - those that live up the hype, the busts, and the late-round surprises.

It's also interesting to compare drafts (i.e. Cam Barker was #3 in 2004, while #3 picks from other years include Toews (2006), Jack Johnson (2005), Matt Duchene (2009), Nathan Horton(2003)).
