Landing Clowe and getting Torres back would be awesome. I also hope Lu will get traded for a legit top 6 player if we don't get Clowe but if we don't, a Clowe-Kesler-Kassian line would be so hard to play against. I'd be more than happy going into the playoffs like this:
Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Clowe-Kesler-Kassian
Raymond-Roy-Hansen
Higgins-Lapierre-Torres
Edler-Bieksa
Hamhuis-Garrison

has anyone been watching his games? is he even the same player as he was before the hossa hit? he can cut the head hunting but i hope he is still tough/physical to play against.

Summary of 1040 interview with Gillman:
-Asking price for Lu may have changed from a centreman, could move Kes to wing though
-Looking to make at LEAST 1 more move, maybe 2
-Could be looking to upgrade our bottom pairing D, add a scoring winger
-Kassian in the minors is for conditioning in a shortened season, but there is no guarantee he is called back up if he doesn't play well
-Roy will likely play in between Higgins and Hansen
-Confirmed Booth is on LTIR, wouldn't say whether Manny was or was not
-Didn't exactly say it, but alluded to the fact that the Canucks may be all-in this year
Interesting that he never mentioned Raymond once when speaking about the top 6 or the core guys. I have a feeling he will be moved, especially with the resigning of Higgy.
Also, if we're all-in, you have to think they're working hard to move Roberto.

Torres won't be coming back to the Canucks.
There was talk that Higgins wouldn't re-sign in 2011 offseason if Torres re-signed as well. Apparently Torres wasn't popular in the locker room talking about players wives and what not.
And seeing that Higgin's JUST got extended, no way Torres comes back this season. I'd love to have him back though  | |

Heard on 1040 they could see Lu going to the Devils for marek zidlicky and Hedberg. NJD have a 20yr Montreal guy that Lu is good friends with and with Marty's last year they need a tender.

^ I heard that too, don't like that deal at all. Zidlicky is 36, though a RH dman. Hedberg is 39, decent backup. But we're trading an elite goalie to dump his cap and pick up a rental dman? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
