Cool looking movie.
For some reason it makes me think of Sukiyaki Western Django, which was made by Takashi Miike but starred Quintin Tarintino. Maybe because they both look action packed.

I'll look forward to this movie. I like Wu-Tang.

I'm a huge Wu-Tang fan and I'll definitely see this.

quoted from a YouTube comment.

"Quentin Tarantino, RZA, Eli Roth, Cung Le, Russell Crowe, MC Jin, Rick Yune, Batista, Daniel Wu, Byron Mann, Lucy Liu and a bunch of hot Asian girls--this should be good!"

lol damn straight! lol

^

Can't get enough of the soundtrack. Almost all the songs are amazing.

Btw, anyone find it odd that cineplex hasn't listed any showtimes for this yet? I want to watch it this weekend, but no theaters have it confirmed.

RZA makes good beats. Yes I find it a bit strange as well. I just searched CinemaClock and it does not display showtimes.

RZA directed the movie and wrote the screen play with Eli Roth. Quentin Tarantino just slapped his name on this.

watched it with eatman and i disagree.. though the movie was cheesy.. you have to appreciate the origins of wu-tang (where wu tang took the name from an old school kung fu movie)

think of it as a western old school kung fu movie meets kill bill

was it terrible? IMO no.
could it have been better? yes.

the movie was cut down in production from 3 hours to 1.5 hours.

The acting is shitty and the story line is crappy but it's still a great movie. Great action scenes and it's nice and cheesy like how the old Wu films are which make it perect. You have to go in expecting tons of action, blood/guts and you will enjoy it.

Agree with most of you guys. Shitty acting, extremely cheesy moments but the action and soundtrack were pretty good. I wish they had more character depth though.

Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Decent movie to kill time but you won't be talking about it two weeks from now.
