Jeff Bridges Admits Iron Man Movie Had No Script

Quote:

Iron Man may have seemed as polished as fresh power-armor, but the movie actually had no screenplay at all, says Jeff Bridges. The chaos freaked him out, until he decided to think of it as a $200 million student film.In an interview with InContention, Bridges explained that the Marvel superhero movie rushed into production to make its release date, with the director and star making up scenes as they went along:

I'll be honest, that's what 80% of superhero films feel like to me anyways.

But why does Ironman 1 feel 100% superior than 2 in every way :/ because of the spontaneity?

StylinRed 07-16-2012 05:38 PM

^^^ because the director got to make the film how he wanted it instead of having Marvel come in and go "cut down your story and Advertise Avengers-tie-in films"

what's Transformers 1 and 2's excuse? =D

Iron Man 1 was over the top as a superhero movie should be. It was quippy but just a hint of almost believable.

Iron Man 2 was for 5 year olds and was shitty.
