A client of mine bought a hard top about 2 years ago. About 1.75 years ago, he told me it was creaking and groaning over every bump and had already been in and out of the dealer.

Oh, and the first night he had it, his son asked why someone parked a Chrysler in his spot.

So, I'd consider that a solid investment.
