Vancouver Clear-Bra experience

OK.. so whats the deal with these guys?

I know this organization is the 'bastard child' of Downtown Auto Spa but what has everyones experience been with their clear bra installations at DAS or Vancouver Clear Bra?

Reason why I'm asking is that I had a friend who just picked up a brand new vehicle and opted to get a clear bra done covering his entire hood as well as the front bumper. he chose vancouver clear bra as they were nearest to his location.

So.. it gets done..but its the same old story.. dust / dirt particles trapped underneath the clear bra, 1 or 2 hairs/lint also trapped, dozens of air bubbles..and some funky sort of clear bra wrinkling.

So.. he takes it back and is told that they will 'redo' the entire bumper area to address the trapped particles...thing is, from what I can tell...all this is done in a parking garage of sorts? And from what I recall, he spent like close to $900 on this.

I told him straight out.. if it gets messed up again a second time, just ask for a refund otherwise you'll be going back and forth and its just gonna be a huge inconvenience.

Surely, others have used Vancouver Clear Bra .. if so, pls share your 'recent' experiences.

Any reputable shop will redo it if it's bad. Truth of the matter is that you're bound to get some dust caught in the film. Outdoors is probably one of the worst places to do it. Once a small gust of winds kicks up, impending doom follows. lol

Make sure your friends brings it to their shop to redo it, or provides them with a garage to work in for optimal results.

Moisture bubbles will form initially too, usually need to give it a week or so to evaporate.
