In-N-Out Burger in Langley

For one day only...

In-N-Out Burger Langley Metro Vancouver | Vancity Buzz | Vancouver Blog

Some of you probably know about this, but it's the first time I heard of this and might be the same for those who love these burgers.

It's their 4th time back, how did I now know about this!?

Matlock 08-18-2012 10:19 AM

Be there or be square.
Thanks for letting us know!

Lomac 08-18-2012 12:38 PM

Go there every year during the Good Times meet. They're fantastic burgers, but I'm not sure it's worth the wait you have lining up...

Marioo1991 08-18-2012 01:04 PM

Does anyone remember how long the lineup was last time?

murd0c 08-18-2012 01:38 PM

are the burgers still the same quality?

Obsideon 08-18-2012 10:53 PM

^ I'm wondering the same thing, are they just as good as the originals in SoCal?

Also, noob question but I perused their website and checked the FAQ but I still don't quite understand, so this is a "Cruise-In" event? How does that work?

One of the Q's on their site is:
Question: What time is the car show open to the public?
Answer: 8am to 6pm free parking and shuttle service from Kwantlen College (Hwy 10 & Glover)

So does that mean we are required to park at Kwantlen and take a shuttle to the actual site? I can't just park nearby and walk in?
Do we have to pay to get in then buy the burgers?
Or is this somewhat similar to a RS meet except it's focused on Classic cars?

I looked at the Event Map and it looks like a bunch of road closures, do they just park on the street?

Sorry I've never attended this kind of event before and I'm sorta clueless.

Langley Good Times Cruise-In, Langley British Columbia, Canada Car Show

The Cruise In is just like the RS Meets, but on a much MUCH larger scale (think thousands of cars instead of merely hundreds.) It takes over all of the old part of Langley, along with parts of the surrounding area. You don't have to park at Kwantlen but it's likely the best chance you'll get at finding a spot if you're unfamiliar with the area.

And yes, you'll still have to buy a burger. They're one of the many food vendors at the car show.

Yup! this cruise is the bomb! The burgers are awesome. This is the forth year now I think. Can't wait for In-N-Out... and in again!!!

icemiko 08-21-2012 12:48 PM

Have a few questions if anyone can answer them, are the burgers the same quality as the ones in the states? And how long is the line up usually?

Thanks

-ensay- 08-25-2012 01:36 AM

I've lived in Langley for years and I've never gone to the Cruise-In lol

Wykydtron 08-25-2012 05:03 AM

The line-up generally gets longer the later in the day it gets as more people keep showing up. You can expect probably about an hour. I've waited about an hour every year, and will be waiting as long as it take this year again. As a bonus, the proceeds the previous years have gone to charity.
And for those of you that know Langley and have never been to the Cruise-in, burger truck usually parks in Value Village parking lot.

HonestTea 08-25-2012 03:47 PM

So they start serving burgers at 8am? Or what time?

quasi 08-25-2012 08:02 PM

It's a great car show so many cars. There is free parking within a 10 minute walk all around as long as you show up at a reasonable time.

gloors 09-05-2012 04:03 PM

Anyone here planning on going to this?

In the area there are only two substantial areas to park available.

Kwantlen - at 56th and Glover. Across the street from the new BMW and Infiniti dealerships. Kwantlen is an Impark lot, but it was free last year and I assume it will be again this year.

The Casino - there's a large parkade you enter off Logan ave. Follow Glover for two blocks south past Kwantlen, turn right, the parkade is a half a block down on your left. I'm not sure if this will be open, parking fees, etc.

If you're coming from Richmond just follow 56th. If you're coming from Vancouver the fastest route will most likely be taking the 232nd exit off highway 1.

If you want to fill up after the show, the closest non-gvrd gas station is the Shell on Fraser Highway and Station Road, it's about 10 minutes East of Kwantlen, gas should be $120.1

I've gone every year for..... 11 years, I think. I usually get there between 10-11am, but as long as you arrive by early afternoon you'll have lots of time to walk around and check out the cars, it's not like a couple hour long RS meet.

You can park nearby and walk in, that's what I will be doing. It's two blocks from Kwantlen to the show.

I can't remember ever paying to enter the show, I think it's just the cars that sign up who pay.

Sort of like an RS meet, except on public streets, way larger, different crowd...

HonestTea 09-07-2012 11:49 PM

What time do they stop serving burgers and have they ever ran out? lol
