the ones in HK are the ECE rated versions, so they're also a little lighter than the NA DOT rated ones.

Buy Sony Action Cam HDR-AS15 with Wi-Fi

Merry Christmas everyone!

Stupid Question Time

Pocket Bikes, what are the used for other than selling on Craigslist?

They are illegal to run on the road/sidewalk.

You can not use them in parking lots (liability issues)

They are not of quality to use in racing.

..

there are no uses for them inside of vancouver, they are just too noisy and usually you'll find them riding around the same block and its just a matter of time before someone calls it in.

back when i had one, the police threatened me with riding an uninsured vehicle, no safety lighting, improper tires, and another for noise pollution LOL

So yesterday I figured I should adjust my chain.

I check the internet for tips and tricks, you can always learn something new. Watch and checkout YouTube.

Read the owners manual for specs.

Get into some work cloths, get out the work lights, 2 x 500 watt (heat and light ) uncover the Aprila take it off the stands and move it into the center of the garage.

Turn on the radio (need music) get the bike back up on the pit stands. Get the work lights into the right place.

Put on some hand lotion, a tip from Bernie Ryan (PRS).

Get the tools out 32mm socket and 1" drive torque wrench, and a few spanners.

Find my steel ruler.

Get on some latex gloves get onto the floor spin the rear wheel to loosen up the chain and check for tight links.

All looks good.

Get the ruler into the action check the chain in about a dozen locations while manipulating the chain to get true and accurate readings.

FUCK

All is good no adjustment needed.

Put the tools away, get the bike of the pit stands, move it back to the side of the garage back up onto the pit stands, bike cover back on, tools away, lights put away.

Well that was an hour wasted, did not use a single tool.

I did check wear on tires and clean off all the loose crap to look at general condition.

Looks like a new set of Pilot Power 2 CT are in my future.

Squid comes to mind

Squid
A young motorcyclist who overestimates his abilities, boasts of his riding skills when in reality he has none. Squid bikes are usually decorated with chrome and various anodized bits. Rear tyres are too wide for their own good, swingarm extended. Really slow in the corners, and sudden bursts of acceleration when a straight appears. Squids wear no protection, deeming themselves invincible. This fact compounds intself with the fact that they engage in 'extreem riding'--performing wheelies and stoppies in public areas. Squids wreck alot. Derived from 'squirly kid'

Squid
An extremely rare animal with a short lifespan. Usually a new sport bike enthusiast with the reasoning of a lunatic, whom you might see thrashing on an R1 wearing sandals, shorts, and a tee.
When found lying motionless on the pavement, this creature transforms itself into a stream of blood, exposed flesh, and broken limbs. Hence the squid moniker.

Stupid
Quick
Underdressed
Imminently
Dead
Did you see that guy leave the showroom on the R6? Did you see what he was wearing? What a moron. That Squid.

Squid

A young man on an incredibly over powered motorcycle, wearing nothing but a helmet.

The term derives from what is discernable from his corpse:
A helmet with stringy fleshy bit dangling from the bottom.

Also see calamari

SQUID
One who buys an R1 as their first bike, and logs onto a non-stunting sportbike forum asking how to wheelie said bike.
Porchito: Hey guys I just bought this R1 (Don't worry I'm not a squid, I'm mature my car has a v-8)... anyways how do I wheelie this thing?

I do a quick check about once a week, to make sure there is less than 2" of slack.

Thanks for the video of what can happen
