Went to Red Wagon for the first time today.
We sat within 24 minutes on a long weekend sunday. So, i tried the pulled pork pancakes, and I must say, its something that I was happy to try out. Really, the pancakes are meal in itself. Well served with the Jack Daniels syrup.
Definitely not for everyone...but its worth trying out whether its part of your breakfast platter, or shared on the side with someone else.
Would I order it again?? Probably not. I'm always going to abide with sweet pancakes rather than those savoury/sweet style pancakes. But still, I was happy trying it out.

| Porchetta is italian. I do agree though, its nothing special. However there is a washroom. I don't think its even legal to operate a restaurant without a washroom.

The one off Burrard and Georgia doesn't have a washroom....and you're right, there is some sort of regulation that requires a washroom for any place that has food service; i have no clue why this is the case.

Wow thats fucking crazy. It seems like even besides the toilet factor, people need to have a place to wash their hands.

My girlfriend and I went to Red Wagon about two months ago. She had the Jack Daniels pancakes which were pretty good. The Jack Daniels was pretty strong but I liked it. I had the Pork Belly sandwich and it was nothing out of the ordinary...
Can anybody suggest a place that serves buttermilk fried chicken other than Save-On-Meats. Never tried it there but wanted to know where else has them.

portland craft has a good chicken and waffles, however they give you chicken gravy with it and it really needs syrup. you have to ask for it.

Thats true. It isn't with the waffles but it is with something else on the regular menu. I like abigails more, as the value is a bit better, But I agree chewies fried chicken is great as well. I like the atmosphere of abigails a lot more as well. A lot more personal and intimate.
