Newbie here!

Hey everybody, so I joined this forum because I want to learn more about cars. If somebody could please give me some resources or start me off with some basics that'd be great! I hope to be as much of a car enthusiast as some of you one day, I'm really interested in modding but I don't know really know anything. I've been driving my parent's Camry and currently saving up enough for down payment towards a new car. Any help is appreciated, hope I can meet some of you and steer me in the right direction! :)

Since you mention down payment for a 06 TSX, my advice is do not finance a used car. The car depreciate faster than you pay the amount owing the bank.

Okay, thanks for the advice! You have any resources on how to mod cars? Because I would love to learn a thing or two

what do you want to mod? it all depends on the brands you get and what type of mods you want to do, btw Welcome to Revscene!

If you're new, why not start with a lower-value car to work on?
Mods aren't cheap. I know people with a ~15k car with mods that are easily into the couple thousands, and if you turbo/supercharge it that's when it gets really expensive. Of course it makes sense to start with a more valuable car to begin with, but make sure first that your budget allows it ;)

And remember, newer vehicles tend to depreciate rapidly.
