Dairy Queen

Went to the one on Denman and robson last night.

Ummm, did DQ mess around with the mixture of their ice cream in blizzards? It seems more "watery" and "slushy". I remember it being THICK ice cream back in the day. Or is each location different?

This I'm guessing.

Or maybe its a new batch and the machine hasn't completely frozen it to its regular thickness yet.

I made a screamer at a convenience store in Cloverdale last Thursday and the ice cream came up pretty watery. The owner explained that the machine is put on "sleep" mode overnight so isn't kept as frozen as it would be regularly.

I used to work at one. It might be because the machine recently got cleaned or "watery" is from over blending.

Hmmm... gotta go to another DQ to find out!

I thought it was the "buy one get the second one for 99cents" deal that might have made DQ cheapen their recipe to off set costs.
