Illegally Parked Cars

In richmond, the street where I live I always have these cars parked illegally. Either double parking or parking past the sign that signifies "no parking". Sometimes the cars are parked facing the wrong way on street parking. Its really causing a hassle in the traffic that passes through.

I was wondering, can I just call up Rustys or sth to report it and see if they come and tow them? Or do I have to be a cop or some city parking ticket officer type? Thanks

you can't call towing because it is city property, but you can report it to your local bylaw office. you can find the number on your city's website

There was a problem in my neighbourhood where the person who had the corner house parked his vehicles right up to the corner of the sidewalk. This reduced visibility considerably for people coming in and out. (It's a T-intersection.) With enough calls to the city to complain from several people, workers finally came and installed "No Stopping" signs at the correct distance from the intersection.

Seeing as how your signs are already there... call the bylaw office as Raid3n said.

Kind of off topic but does anybody know if theres a rule or law that says you cant park facing the wrong way?

Obviously not on main roads but on small streets and side streets.

^ yes there is a rule for that...
My brother got a ticket from the city and it said... Don't park facing the wrong way unless emergency. it cost $50.
