Uniqlo US Webstore the japanese "fast-fashion" retailer just opened their online store in the US...good news for those that frequents Pt Roberts/Blaine/Sumas. Any idea how they fit? Women's, Men's and Kids' Clothing and Accessories | UNIQLO They plan on opening 20-30 locations a year trying to take on Zara and H&M...so there's a good chance they'll be in town soon. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/...89H0PH20121018 |
It depends on if they re-sized shit to fit fatass Americans. In Japan, an L fits like a M for me. |
I have a few of the Metal Gear shirts, and they are all xl's but I could fit into a large. (6"1 230) |
If they port their stuff right over, the woman's clothes will fit most asians, the gf loves them and bought a bunch when we were in Japan earlier this year. The men's stuff.... I'm not too fond of. Their collars are either too small or too big. |
They already have Uniqlo stores in the US, so I assume that the sizing matches what is in their existing physical US stores.. nothing to 'port over' |
cool. good to know. where is the closest uniqlo store in the states to us? |
^ bay area..i believe the other 4 are on the east coast perhaps someone who's bought stuff from those stores can tell us if it's american-sized haha |
I went to the store in NYC.. it seemed to be normal sizing, not too americanized. |
they need to add an XXL, XXXL, B&T sizing for america if they want to succeed |
aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh :awwyeah: |
They changed their size chart, so the original XL becomes an L. I think for T-shirts and stuff they also added a US XL |

I have two Uniqlo cardigans. One purchased from Uniqlo in NYC and one from HK. They are different cardigans but both size medium. The NYC one is definitely larger fits like a North American size medium. The HK one more like a North American S or even XS. |

We can't use our Canadian credit cards because they don't take Canadian billing addresses. |
doesn't take canadian credit card = useless should say in op |
I know right? This thread got my hopes up too... Placed a couple of things in my basket and when I got to checkout I was like :fuuuuu: |
have you tried calling your CC to try and add a 2ndary billing address? It might/might not work. |
you can order from the US Website I emailed uniqlo and they said just email your order number or order with the correct information and they'll authorize it here i'll quote it just in case ppl are :suspicious: Quote:

Went to Uniqlo when I was in NYC and got some sweaters from there. I usually wear XS/S but got S sweaters. Their shirts almost fit the same as J.Crews I think. |
