Ordered Osram bulbs online: fake or real?

I've heard of a lot of Phillips bulbs being circulated online as fakes, but wondering about Osram. Does anyone have any experience on them?

Bought them on ebay and came in some sketchy packaging (stuffed with newspaper but i guess it couldve been to protect the bulb). Received them from Lithuania but Osram is based in Germany (not too far off...).

ad in question:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/271058441052?...#ht_827wt_1397

Will be putting them in my bike tomorrow. uploading photos if anyone really knows their stuff

Edit: wrong section sorry..

I purchased the same bulbs from a similar seller (also from Lithuania) and they work just fine, though they surely didn't blow me away with brightness as Osram says it would (90% more). I'm almost tempted to try the Philips X-treme Visions, however they cost more, and for a couple more dollars I could invest in an HID system.

I used MTEC Super Whites before, they were bright like it's insane, but after a few weeks the glass would always melt and deform after getting tired of sending them back to the seller (lifetime warranty) for replacements, I decided to ditch MTEC for some legit OEM-quality.

As far as these Osrams being real or not, I've seen non-eBay automotive lighting sites carry the same bulbs for approximately the same price, so I wouldn't worry too much.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just remembered I got my Nightbreakers from a seller in the UK http://myworld.ebay.ca/performancebu...84.m1439.l2754

Make sure not to touch the glass with your bare hands. The oil from your hands will reduce the bulb life.

Those look pretty legit to me. If you want to be safe, order from Power Bulbs.

How long do these bulbs last I have never had luck with these aftermarket bulbs. They only last about a year.

Most of these lights last one to one and a half years of daily usage. They don't last long. If you want long life bulbs stick with the OEM grade bulbs. They'll last years.

Err, Osram is OEM grade, like Philips.
