Hit and run, plate number needed

Hey guys, I just witnessed a pretty nasty incident involving a MY06/11' BLACK MERCEDES ML (not an AMG). The Mercedes has reasonably large FRONT end damage. This happened about 11:00PM around E 1st/Victoria. Just hoping someone would have saw it driving away.

Please be on the look out and get a plate number.

MY06' to 11' black Mercedes ML (not AMG) with front end damage.

Story below,
Spoiler!

hmmmm... i saw a black ML today with a smashed up driver side front corner.. bumper, headlight, hood and the wheel was all damaged (some camber yo)

the car was parked on right infront of marine chrysler on the street...

not sure if thats the same one... but there is potential that it might be!

It its obvious that it was not an AMG model as it had the standard looking ML wheels...

hope this helps and is indeed the car you are looking for. I dont usually see damaged cars parked on the public street... at least something with that caliber of damage.

What time did you spot the Merc ? Im suprised he made it that far.

I dont think they were drunk, but had road rage, sitting in the passenger seat of a taxi

I'm not sure if that was the couples destination or not, but I assume the guy got out of the car, the girl tried to calm him down and then it just escalated from there

I contacted the officer who took my statement and told her a vehicle matching the description was spotted around Marine, hopefully she found the car, or asked around the area.

The ML floored it from a standstill maybe 4ft away from the Pilot and hit it almost head on.

I spotted a black ML at subway on Marine on Saturday morning around 12ish. The guy, who was this big eastern European guy, rushed in, got water and stood outside the entrance for a good 5 mins just looking around. Honestly he walked into subway like he wanted to fight someone because he kept looking around and staring everyone down. I do remember his truck not having a front plate but didn't notice any damage but mind you I didn't look that closely because it was pissing rain.

I was confused when you said the merc aimed for the coupe?? You meant couple. But pretty stupid couple for hitting and smashing some guys' window. Guess the driver was too baller to care about smashing his own car.

Buddy can be facing a lot more serious than just hit and run... sounds like attempted murder or at least assault with a weapon for trying to run over the couple.

Doubt it because it sounds like both parties provoked each other so tough to throw in a serious charge like that.

I agree it'll be hard to prove, but it doesn't matter how much the other party provoked him, you can't actually try to run them over with your vehicle. From the damage that was done, doesn't seem like it was merely a scare tactic either. Seems there was full on intent to cause bodily harm.

Whoops, yeah thats what I meant.

Not sure whats exactly being done now, but the officer just took my statement and said thank you etc...

The damage to the Pilot is a lot worse then what you see in the pictures. The radiator was exposed and damaged, and the entire front end was damaged. I think a bit of the metal rebar poked through the bumper.
