How to hide laces or make them shorter?

Hey guys,

I was wondering what are some ways to hide my shoe laces without tucking them under the tongue? (It gets pretty uncomfortable)

Also, anyone know how this guy managed to get his shoe laces so short, just hanging from the side? He didn't just get shorter laces did he?

Cut that plastic piece on the end of the lace and tuck it in. I've done this my shoes which I use when I go running because I would always be worried about my laces coming loose and tripping over them which can be lethal when you're running at a good rate of speed so I cut the plastic piece and now I tuck the laces inside.

It's called bar lacing. Search youtube or google for instructions.

The way he did it in the pic isn't bar lacing, it's criss-cross

Just buy shorter laces, hombre.

He's also wearing them VERY loose, so that's part of it.

I'm not a fan of the look, and I like a secure-fitting shoe, but to each his own I guess.

he just laced them super loose... looks stupid imo. you dont have to flop the knot under the tongue either. I just slip whatever's left into the side of my shoe. I dont notice it at all maybe you would idk.
