Anyone recommend a good business lawyer?

I'm in the process of a starting a company and looking to incorporate it. Don't want any legal work half-ass done so decided going through with a lawyer is smarter.

I went to see a lawyer already and I think his price was $1200. I think that's the ballpark? Any RS'ers know any reputable lawyers and affordable too?

you want a good lawyer, but don't want to pay $1200?

you're in for a LOT of disappointment, lawyers are disgusting people who add no value (they reallocate assets, generally) and charge an arm and a leg

you don't need a lawyer, accountants will do it

also, it's not hard to incorporate - if you're too lazy to read up on it (it is really simple and the government website shows you how to do it step by step), then maybe $1200 is worth it

4444 said it, you don't need a lawyer, find a CA to help you build a structure for your company that will be most tax advantageous for years to come. Incorporation is a easy - heck just google it and you'll have all the info you need.
I'd send you the link but...

Never said I didn't want to pay the $1200. I just wanted to know if there are any good lawyers that you guys know before I go to mine. And I have read a LOT about incorporating myself and I know all the steps. I just thought most people get it done properly through a lawyer.

So are there any real advantages by going through a lawyer? If not then, I can easily do it step by step. And F30, I read a lot but... send the link?
