Let Rudy Take The Wheel - Operation Red Nose 2012 Every year.. there's a bunch of you who get caught drinking and driving, and as much as I enjoy poking fun at you morons who look for a defense via this forum, I really would rather see you guys use a service such as Operation Red Nose. I volunteer with them every year, and encourage others to do so if you have the time. You help people get their vehicles home safely... taking drunks off the road. On the perks side, I've driven quite a few nice cars to their respective homes... ;) Operation Red Nose Website Operation Red Nose starts up on November 30th. It is a free service run by volunteers who will come to your location, and drive you home in your own car if you're unable to do so safely on your own (drinking, tired, etc). Hours are 9pm to 3am on the following dates: Friday, November 30 Saturday, December 1 Friday, December 7 Saturday, December 8 Friday, December 14 Saturday, December 15 Friday, December 21 Saturday, December 22 Monday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) Call 1-877-604-NOSE (6673) for a free ride home in your own car... or call these BC locations direct by local number: Abbotsford: 604-864-4814 Burnaby: 778-866-NOSE (6673) Chilliwack: 604-393-3000 Website Delta: 604-943-0460 Website Kamloops: 250-372-5110 Langley 604-532-0888 or Website Mission: 604-864-4814 Nanaimo: 250-755-6969 New Westminster: 778-866-NOSE (6673) North Vancouver: 604-619-0942 Prince George: 250-962-RIDE (7433) Website Maple Ridge: 604-515-NOSE (6673) Pitt Meadows: 604-515-NOSE (6673) Richmond: 604-943-0460 Website Surrey: 604-532-0888 Website Tri-Cities: 778-866-NOSE (6673) West Vancouver: 604-619-0942 Williams Lake: 250-392-2222 |
Let's keep this thread neat and tidy, shall we? I have now deleted seven posts in this thread and given out 6 points. The focus of this thread is saving lives, not frustrations over things that have happened in the past, or peoples' choice on wordings. |
Of course you would thank him Jlenko!!!! hehehe |
On a related note, BCAA also offers the safe ride home program. If you have BCAA, you can call and they will pick up the car and driver, no passengers and deliver them home. It counts as a regular tow using your BCAA. |

Put it as an ad on the home page...big!!!! Because...it is a good service! I know..this will get deleted too.....:okay: |
I've taken advantage of the BCAA thing a few times LOL Call them for roadside and when they get there, I tell them I'm drunk as fack. I gotten a few laughs from the drivers along with a "Hey that's pretty f'in clever. Free tow on me. But no puking in the truck!" XD |
