Public or private? Locations? Split shifts or straight shifts? Accomodation is private housing or dorm? What's the breakdown of "performance bonuses"? Class sizes? Stat holidays off or worked through? Vacation provided or not?

you won't be able to secure a english teaching job in korea until your bachlors is done due to visa reasons (e2 visa for teaching).

this is most likely not EPIK but recruiters that hire directly for the korean smoe/poe's. EPIK is still accepting applications for anyone interested but it'll be closing soon once they get the required number of hires.

for anyone with any questions about applying for EPIK, pm me.

It's really too bad that they require a bachelors for a working visa. It would've been an an awesome opportunity to spend a summer travelling and working at the same time! Still a year or two to come for me

IIRC EPIK requires 2 years of post-sec. Though that may have changed since the political climate is leaning away from foreigners.

My guess is that this posting is for a private school, especially given the dearth of details. Public schools don't have "performance bonuses" that you have to match up to.

look into the TALK program...EPIK's sister program. it only requires a minimum two years of post secondary but is only a 6 month internship type deal so won't need a full on e2 visa. only downside is teaching in more rural areas than EPIK and i think your housing is with a home stay.

EPIK requires a bachelor so 4 years of post secondary (or however long until you obtain it).

In regards to all questions:

Korean government requires you to have a degree in order to get a Visa. No way around this, they require sealed copies of your transcripts.

it's not epik, recruiter that recruits for private hagwons and public schools

split shifts and straight shifts, locations lots in Seoul but all over South Korea, accommodation is private housing, performance bonus is a bonus you get if you fully complete your contract, other bonuses are negotiated directly with the recruiter, class sizes are 6-12, Korean stat holidays off, vacation pay and vacation days are negotiated as well when you get placed. This is pretty much what I got when I did this

note i'm just helping out the recruiter that helped me out because shes cute, u will see if u apply but yeah just dont waste her time lol. She can give you the exact details

just pm me your email address and i'll get her to contact you
