Gfit cards! Easiest present!

yogenfruz 11-16-2012 02:37 PM

Honestly, I have no idea what to get anyone...
Most of my family have everything they want/need at the moment.

kakucaekz 11-16-2012 02:41 PM

Getting cousin halo 4 controller and headphones
Giving grandparents gift card to TNT, lol
Trying to find a 240SX toy to give to my friend who's buying a 240 lol

Everyone else, no freakin' clue lol. Parents are the hardest to shop for, ugh -.- Hard to do with limited money as well.

My company is doing Secret Santa. What is a appropriate gift for about $25 that is not a gift card?

Graeme S 11-16-2012 03:12 PM

My family has a $10 budget for gifts. I did all my christmas shopping on dx.com

Lasers and flashlights and all kinds of weird shit.

Starbucks has coffee's and mugs, cups, etc that are well suited for gifts.

The specialty tea stores in metrotown also have decent gifts for around that price.

I hate shopping for random people lol, so just end up getting random things. It's secret anyway :troll:

StylinRed 11-16-2012 04:21 PM

i used to always have great ideas on what to buy but the last couple years its been harder and harder to come up with ideas

riley_ 11-16-2012 04:43 PM

Can't go wrong with iKea gift cards. Every time I go into that store, I end up leaving with something.

I usually buy a bottle of red wine. Hard to go wrong unless of coz they don't drink wine, but you should know by then since you work with them.

For that budget you can't go wrong with the Holiday Season Liqour gift boxes. Comes in a tin with a small bottle and 2 cups. Crown Royal is one of many and is $20 If i remember.

Its actually 3 different families
And I don't think they have a wii.

Budget would be around $50/kid
Or maybe $70 for the oldest kid and $30 for younger ones (if they are siblings, since the younger ones gets hand me downs)

Just want to know if there is like "the gift" this year
Like how "tickle me elmo" was hot shit a few years back

And sucks cause there is no disney store here in the okanagan, or else everybody gets disney plush dolls haha.
