Where to change CAD to USD in large amount?

Where to change CAD to USD in large amount?

Thinking about changing 30k+ in CAD to USD.

Own bank or VBCE - any RS'er with experience in this?

Ask your bank if they can match VBCE pricing... or ask them how much do you have to exchange to call in for a better rate (banks if you change a lot of Foreign currency, they can call there back office and see if they can give a better rate)

Ended up going with VBCE. They are great and offer the best rate IMO

My bank is a complete a clusterfuck!!! I'm a VIP and higher tiered client at my bank and honest to say the least the location i go to (main branch in Downtown Vancouver) is such a complete joke. They never offer me the best rate or service for my time or money. This resulted to me going to VBCE (wasted 1 hour and going to 5 places) returning to my bank and my bank tells me

"We don't want you go run around like that and we "COULD" of offered you the same rate"

What the fuck!!!!!! I asked the same question if this can be done and the rep told me it can't be done. While the assistant branch manger tells me different

Helps to always ASK!!
