Well, might as well start whoring ourselves out.

I got some tools, a tripod, an electrical razor, a metric ton of clothes and a delicious breakfast.

There was a dump truck outside last night, my parents were keeping me away from the window and in my room. I was confused but now I understand.

Anybody else have an electric shaver? I got the Philips RQ1150. I had a pretty good scruff going today, charged the bad boy for an hour or so and went at it dry.

Honestly, the thing is pretty crappy. Missed a lot of spots, took way longer than conventional shaving would have.

Is it this just me? Are shavers meant for people who don't grow much facial hair? Would it have made a huge difference if I had wet/put shaving cream on my face?

they are good if you shave every singe day. They are also nice if you don't shave for a bit take off some and the rest with a straight razor to help save blades.

used electric for most of my life due to convenience...recently switched to razor blades in the last couple of years...you'll never get as good a shave with an electric. it's more for convenience (and i guess better for the environment if you don't use shaving cream).

like murdoc said daily shaving should keep you fairly clean but once i tried manual i can't go back

i've been using an electronic shaver all my life. i don't shave daily and let my shit grow. depending on your shaver, they may have recommendations on how to shave. i use braun series 5 and it specifically recommends shaving dry before washing your face or anything. and if its long, trim before shaving.
