What kind of a structure are you trying to place the car in/on?

Cranes usually need to go pretty high, even if you're only lifting 20ft.

for those of you wondering how he did it, it involved a ramp and a starting distance of 100 feet.
*note* the process will vary from car to car and may take 1 or 2 tries
100% successful when moving a general lee to the second floor

Would have been nice to know what you were doing so others could use it as a reference in the future.

Lifting a car onto the 2nd floor of a building. Most crane companies can do it apparently.

Don't think so, has to go 20ft up then 20ft horizontally, then be placed down.

Hey wolf gang, cool story, tell it again.

Most cars are pretty light in relation to what most mobile cranes typically lift.

we move a cat 305 like this:

with a typical/large style Hyab truck like this:

up about 25 feet and over 10-15

so any large hiab may be able to do it, just have to rig it up
