Langley 2012 BMW M3 demo

hi guys, what you guys think of this car Thinking about getting it but it has been sale for a long time and probably beat to hell. But the price is not bad. I can probably talk down to 67-68k

If the price is right, get it! It still has full factory warranty, so if anything goes, you really have nothing to worry about.

doubt they would budge on the price unless you throw a 68k bankdraft on the table

you have full warranty anyway, can't get too beat up if you're buying from a dealer

you would be surprised how much a dealership will move the price on a used car, especially one thats been on a lot for a while, also the price you see on the website might not be the most updated, go check it out at the dealership, i would be surprised if the sticker price wasnt less, ps this is coming from someone with years in dealerships, and sales

^ for the amount you save...esp in this case, can be worth it
if it's really been on the lot for a while and with the imminent 4-series...bring out your haggling skills

It's been in the lot since like May or June 2012. I'm going to take a look in the weekend probably. The price listed on bmw.ca is actually $70329 that's why I think i can talk down to 67-68k

+1

also, use extra coverage / extended coverage as a bargaining chip as a deal... its doable. You'd be surprised how desperate dealers are to sell new cars! (demos still count as a new car to their month! )

The current M3 is supposedly the most reliable car BMW makes and put on sale right now according to consumer reports. With that said, you can get an inspection at BMW before you buy to get a peace of mind. Also, you can pay to go into the computer to check for anything like Launch Control usage, engine over rev etc.

I would be worried about how the car was broken in, but BMW rarely let people test drive M cars and there is a built in safety (rev limited to 6000rpm before break in, mandatory oil change and servicing at 1600km)

Also, did I mention its the last Naturally Aspirated M cars, last V8 M3 ever made? Go get it already.

This is true for a brand new M, but not true for a used one. I'm not sure about demos, but I was able to test drive a 2011 and 2009 M3 fairly easily.

Yea, except for that one test drive that was 7,000kms long?

Have they registered the vehicle? ie: has the warranty clock started ticking yet? That will have a signifigant impact on its current value.

If you absolutely must have the car, you can still put a deposit down. Just make sure 100% that your financing will be approve and before the other party gets approved. I was in that situation and I ended up putting down $5000 non refundable deposit and took the car since the other buyer didn't get her financing before me.

In my opinion, I believe you should get an '09 instead of an '08. The updated i-drive system is worth it.

The name of my friend is Kristoffer.
