Coroner determined that the cause of death is accidental drowning...
Quote:
Lieutenant Fred Corral told The Huffington Post B.C. that the cause of death was, "accidental due to drowning, other significant conditions: bipolar disorder."
ahahaha man its been ages since i heard the Unsolved Mysteries theme i remember being scared of it as a kid especially with the real opening scene
+1. My dad used to watch it weekend evenings and I wouldn't be able to sleep afterward.

You can never trust the system as it could be covering up an unsolved murder for its tourist industry... an independent second coroner from the beginning would've been best.
I don't buy it
I'm not an expert on bipolar disorder but I doubt even someone with said illness would climb up a secured rooftop and drown themselves in a water tank.
Yeah, it is extremely difficult to commit suicide via drowning. The body's natural reaction would be to fight for air.

it's possible. but it's also possible that she drowned as a result of her voluntarily going into the water tank

true, but if you are high on drugs, or your mental state is severely compromised by mental illness, you can't count out anything. who says she didn't go in, started to drown, tried to fight it off, and succumbed to the inevitable.

and you would know this because how? you have no idea what type of mental state she was in. what mental illnesses, both diagnosed and undiagnosed, she was suffering from. mental illness is one aspect that NO ONE can relate to, unless they themselves suffer from it. And one person suffering from "bi polar" or even "schizophrenia" won't experience the same thing.
We don't know if she attempted suicide or even had the intent to drown. for all we know, she climbed in there, and couldn't get out/trapped.
A lot of assumptions going on here from "google experts"
I'm still convinced she was high on hard drugs in that elevator video.
Whatever, call me an "armchair investigator", at the end of the day it's somebody acting like a crack head in crack town. And yes, to those of you who want to unload your criminology degree on me, I understand that correlation doesn't imply causation. Posted via RS Mobile
LA cracktown? have you been to downtown eastside?
i'm not for a second saying LA, and every other large city, doesn't have a drug problem, but vancouver has a huge drug problem.
man..spidey, I keep thinking you are the same spidey from rfd...unless you are lol.
what's rfd? richmond fire department? lol

so you know that those are the actions of someone who is on drugs, and NOT someone with a mental illness, how? Have you encountered people who are not on drugs but are mentally ill and sincerely believe there are aliens out there to get them, and wear metal strainers on their heads to prevent aliens from reading their minds? I am guessing no.

my post was addressed to the cause of death, pointing it to bipolar disorder...not accounting for any undiagnosed conditions. Sure it can be broad spectrum and we saw how her behaviour was in the elevator footage
They never explained how she could've bypassed the secured roof top with alarms on the lock.
I honestly still dont buy it just cause things dont add up. Lets say she tried to drown herself or it was accidental. Wheres her clothes? She went up to a secured rooftop naked? How does she even know theres a watertank up there and there would be a ladder there for her to access the top of it.......
How do u close the lid of the watertank after uve jumped in? seems pretty difficult to me....

Apparently u could access the roof from a side ladder when u go outside a window on the top floor
I'll admit the downtown Eastside looks bad, but honestly it's blown way out of proportion. I always go explore downtown, I've never felt unsafe there. Those who say Vancouver is "unsafe" really need to get out of whatever bubble they live in. Posted via RS Mobile
La has its nasty parts, but it's a monster of a city, Vancouver is a tiny little hick town, scale wise it's apples to oranges
