This is so sad.
They found her nude, so this was probably not a suicide.

Do you guys think the hotel security guard had to do with this.
1. Door to open to the roof top, has a lock so needs a key, will trigger to hotel security once opened, yet, hotel security never reported.
2. The video showing the girl in the elevator, yes she was acting strangely, probably drugged, half awake, half not so maybe she wanted go to another floor to get help but her vision is blurry so press any button as she can.
But most importantly, is that the elevator door wouldn't close. Ok maybe it was jammed, but how come when she left, the elevator started working again?
Perhaps hotel security has control of the elevator as well Quote:

This is very weird. Hope more facts are found soon.
...Footage from a KTLA news helicopter showed firefighters and police officials milling around four large rooftop water tanks, two of which had been opened.
...Firefighters will use specialized tools to get the body out, said Los Angeles Fire Dept. Capt. Jamie Moore. The body will have to be removed from the tank in good enough condition that it can be analyzed.
...The LAPD told CBC News that the rooftop had previously been searched, though it's unclear if the water tanks had been checked. There is no security camera on the roof.
...LAPD Sgt. Rudy Lopez said anyone could have opened the tanks, but access to the rooftop should have been restricted. http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2...ody-found.html |

Someone mentioned earlier, the girl was disposed of recently, probably yesterday, at night time, which then clugged up the water this afternoon.
Time will time, and hope whoever done this get arrested

I don't know what is more sad, the fact that the LAPD couldn't care less and have the hotel watched for any signs of her or the fact that they are willing to put so much man power into the execution of chris dorner.

Some people said she could be mentally ill, but I dont think thats the case, or else the parents would never had allow her to go away. I mean, if you are the parent, would you?
She kept in contact with her family everyday which is normal thing to do, but the day of disappearance also the last day of her stay?
Perhaps someone (could be hotel security guard) developed feelings for her, knowing shes leaving soon, and so he acted this...
its like the the murder of Annie Le from Yale

I'm guessing she was already dead in someone elses room in the hotel, and that person recently moved the body into the water tanks when people started looking for her..

Well..this makes it more interesting.
from: http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/lo...191886411.html Link is broken but this was posted on another forum.. Quote:
There's one door to the roof that is alarmed but there are also 3 fire escape ladders. Those ladders are not secure and anyone can go up them from the 15th floor. I used them to climb on the roof during sun set as it was a nice view. Sometimes you would find someone living in the room with the elevator equipment. That door was also unsecured. Scary.
| Also from: Missing Canadian woman's body found at L.A. hotel - World - CBC News Quote:
The LAPD told CBC News that its investigation revealed Lam had struggled with depression.

on that video the news reporter said that the body is floating face up, that means it didnt sink? then how come it was clogging the drain?....maybe dude who allegedly found it was the one who did it in the first place and called in to "report it"

Whereas when you just get dumped after you die into a body of water, the remaining gas in your body and the lack of water weighing you down will keep it floating.
It has nothing to do with valves being shut off or turned on. A person that drowned will sink regardless.
