Spring/Summer ice hockey
 
Whos playing this spring? What league are you playing in ?
I am playing in Langley ASHL.

I will be in Langley ASHL as well! What division will you be in? My friends and I put together a team and we are a mixture of beginner and intermediate players. For now we are in division D but based on the competition we might drop down to E. Any insights?

Our team is starting our first year of ice, it'll be interesting.. I'm on the mighty high horses in ice604, not sure what tier yet. Say hi to me if we play against each other. I'm the goalie.

I am in the same boat as dhari, we are in D right now but might be coming down to E. We are the Chargers. Are you playing there now?

A lot of the lower D teams are going to be in E.

We will be starting in May. Thinking about coming to check out a D and an E division game to see what the leagues definition is of beginner.

I remember playing E1 last year in ASHL Burnaby and it was brutal. Its like tier 4 in ice 604. My team lost every game except one I think.

A lot of teams drop a div because theres no "A" division so the join division "B" the teams in D2B (one div above E) comes down to E for spring/summer.

I am also playing in Langley our team will be in the d division as well. We should be ok for that division. I play with the Puck Hounds. Hopefully get to play against you guys. I am #29:D

How does one join an adult league?
Do you need to come in with an established team? Or is there a free agent system in place?

I'd love to get on a team as a backup goalie, and play as a forward on nights that I'm not needed in net.

You can talk to the league manager and they will put you on a list. Theres always team looking for people.

Depends on teams. My goalie doesnt pay but my friend makes his goalie pay half. Next year our goalie will probably be paying half cause league fees for players are pretty high.

Going to be playing Ice604 and ASHL @ 8-Rinks. Playing div 7/8 in 604 and probably E_ in ASHL.

I'm paying half for my team since its pretty expensive for ice. I play for free for roller though. My team is awesome, filled with people from the same hs. :)

I wasn't but some reps from my team were there. Likely the only brown guys there lol
