Timpo 02-26-2013 11:53 PM

I would rather be on this...

"The Largest Cruise Ship in the World is Five Times the Size of the Titanic"
The Largest Cruise Ship in the World is Five Times the Size of the Titanic «TwistedSifter

Today's largest cruise ship - Oasis of the Seas - practically dwarfs the famously large RMS Titanic. (source: marko-garfild.blogspot.com)

Thats a totally different era, dude... Billionaires are different now then it was back then
I would rather stay on the titanic and see how the rich lived their lives back then. Titanic is sooooo iconic....
and let me guess, you just went on google and searched for the largest cruise ship and didnt even know of this ship until you searched...

I already knew about the ship because it has been posted here a few years ago. I'm not gonna search it right now but I definitely commented on it.

THORISHERE 02-27-2013 05:34 AM

Will the passengers with the cheap tickets be locked below deck for old times sake?

asian_XL 02-27-2013 06:09 AM

will sink again, because it is made in China

XplicitLuder 02-27-2013 07:10 AM

^ I think most ships will sink nowadays right? (Correct me if I'm wrong) and it's not like they're rebuilding it to go "let's hit an iceberg again and see what happens"

That article is old, the newer identical sister ship of the Oasis, the Allure of the Seas is actually larger by 5 millimeters due to manufacturing variances.

According to wikipedia:

Quote:

She has, however, since been surpassed by her sister ship MS Allure of the Seas, which is 50 millimetres (2.0 in) longer, although this difference may have been caused by the temperature of the ship at the time.

The ironing is delicious.

Manic! 02-27-2013 12:04 PM

According to CNN the new ship will be segregated and people will be given period clothing.

CharlesInCharge 02-27-2013 12:14 PM

How come no remote submarine have taken any images of the grand Titanic lobby?
http://a.abcnews.com/images/Technolo...120321_ssh.jpg
Makes me think conspiracy reports of a sister ship being sunk for insurance purposes could be true and the real Titanic is still out there and its luxury inside dismantled.

Ulic Qel-Droma 02-27-2013 12:19 PM

just ask james cameron. he's more obsessed about that ship than anyone else on this planet.

JSALES 02-27-2013 12:49 PM

would not want to be one of the first passengers on that ship lol

Faked by the Illuminati. I mean, the guy's looked at a lot of photoshops. I'm sure he can tell from the pixels.

pastarocket 02-27-2013 01:25 PM

Who's gonna make the "replica" iceberg to make the sequel voyage a similar experience to the first voyage? :lawl:

That's like saying you'd rather be in a De Havilland Comet than an Airbus A380.:okay:
