Go for the rockford, it has 4 gauge inputs vs the jvc's 8 gauge which tell you the RF will put out more power. What kind of sub is this powering?

What is the impedance of your subs coils? If you have 2 Single voice coil 4ohm subs you can wire it down to 2ohms for more power.

We have a very tiny but very powerful JL Audio 500 watt amp for $299. I would put that up against the amps you are talking about any day of the week!

You NEED to go see Mike at Sounds Good.

He'll have a few amps that will be MORE than comparable, and most likely rape the 2 you're looking at.

If you haven't already been, you owe it to yourself to drop by.

Pay a little more for better quality.

It'll go a long way. Funny how I was thinking the JL JX series also.

If you're really on a tight budget I'm sure either myself or orgasm_donor can get his hands on a PPI for not too much more then the RF.
