either way, the risk is small. im willing to risk 3-4 spots of the 20. as long as we find someone we can trust and is knowledgeable in admining the machine.
Agree, the risks are small for the outcome here,

Even if we managed to pull off 4 btcs for each investor, thats est, 4000 less 1000 ( first year cost)

And im sure most will just not touch it.

Better than tossing 600 into the atm imo.

lol obviously, i think the first qualification is, all participants have to be willing to lose their entire investment, and not have it affect their personal lives in anyway.

here's a cookie.

I called it 4 days ago. I am definitely beginning to lean towards a believer in Bitcoins. But for the time being, alot of weak hands who are incredibly rich/in the money and have never experienced this before so we have panic selling.

Not enough strong holders/demand, more sellers/speculators selling into market bids.

My concern right now is, the merchants who accepted the Bitcoins, some who don't monitor prices and need to cash out. Then what? They see that they actually lost money via forex losses. If this keeps up, there won't be a mass adoption.

it's not a crash, anyone that can read charts can see it's just a correction.

lots of orders @1050-1050 stop loss, once it broke that it crashes down 860 where the previous tops were, where technically you have the best chance of buying back.

bitcoin is volatile, high % intra-day moves are expected.

For people interested in FPGA's there are so many linux based FPGA boards out there that are much more capable than the ones people sell for mining. If you are that interested, you can go that route. Get a dev kit from eg Altera, there are several you can pick Development Kits, Daughter Cards & Programming Hardware. or Xilinx, I think Xilinx is a bit ahead of Altera right now in terms of their fabrication process. Get a ATX motherboard, you can have few of them on one computer chassis to maximize IO and power supply.

If you are that worry about power cost.. move to Quebec.

The problem is if you are going higher performance ones. They (as in US) might ask questions.

I am down for the 2TH mining op for 2 shares if anyone wants to run it.

If it's confirmed interest we should start a list at least.

Large -20% correction today. Any new targets on BTC price? I would like to see another correction down to the 6-7 but don't really see that happening.

QuarkCoin is now number #5 in market cap with $59,000,000. Also, ColossusCoin just cracked the list. Although it's at the VERY bottom (#42) it's starting to climb. I own... wait for it... 85,000,000 ColossusCoins. Haha!. And about 13000QRK now. It's just a wait and see now.
