I know I'm crazy but I like simple burgers. Single, good patty. Lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo. Maybe bacon. I barely need cheese.

My favourite burger in the Tri-City’s. Everything about it is top-notch, handmade patty with chopped bacon and real cheese melted over. Fresh kiaser bun and veggies, generous portion of steak cut fries. They also give you Sriracha sauce. Fucking delicious.

five guys in poco have always been amazing
but the prime rib burger at the keg is also excellent just a bit pricey though with all the toppings

Patty crusted.
Meat juicy.
Bun toasted.
Good tomatoes go a looooong way.
Onions, lettuce and homemade mayo.
Restaurants pack add a ton of condiments because it's good for marketing and can charge more but it's entirely unnecessary.

I'm genuinely curious. | It's not a gourmet burger, unfortunately (compared to what you've made anyway.)
It's just a very honest and simple burger - good bun, beef patty (probably processed and frozen haha) crisp lettuce and tomato and I forgot whatever sauce they use. That and it comes with a generous serving of fries.

I can appreciate things as they are (i think?).
If the lettuce is crisp and the patty is crusted, but not dry, i'm already really pleased.

I like splitz. Cascade room has good burgers and uses two rivers beef so cook them medium(ish). Basically anywhere that has fresh meat and cooks their burgers properly they are pretty good. A place I used to work in whistler called mountain club (sister restaurant to the now defunct ocean club) had the best fucking burger I've ever had. Freshly baked buns, we ground prime rib and chuck in house with a bit of pork as well. Molasses braised shredded short rib on top with caramelized onions and horseradish cream. Housemade ketchup. This thing was fucking bomb. I still make it at home sometimes when my guests are lucky, except I buy buns because baking is fucking time consuming and messy.

We still gotta get together man. One of these weekends for sure. I'm trying to squeeze the last drops of snowboard season in, but after that we will definitely have some fun. I think I'll be doing plenty of learning from you too man |

Haven't went to Burger Heaven in a long time (My dad knows the owner)
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but I've had some good burgers there. However, when I brought my friends the food was nowhere near as good. That was disappointing and made me look like a liar. I would have to say it's a hit or miss depending on the day. Which is unfortunate.
Fat Burger has been consistently good to me. Not the best, but never bad.
The best burgers could be the ones you make yourself at home. That way you can put any ingredients.

Yeah, I think it's the No. 9 House Special burger. I haven't had it in ages however (re: during my clubbing days aka 2001 - 2004.) Just don't have too high of an expectation. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, it's just a simple and honest burger that really hits the spot.

Best burger I ever had was my 2010 full lb Olympic burger complete with onions, and home made guacamole. I find most places over-condiment anyways.
