King crab and Lobster as in... Chinese style?

Or, West-coast fine dining style?

For downtown, I really don't know of a good Chinese king-crab place, but there are some average to above average Chinese restaurants, but none to compare with ones in Richmond IMHO.

West-coast fine dining... on the other hand...

Bluewater (Best Seafood, as reviewed by Vancouver Magazine, for many years in the past decade... and even once as the BEST RESTAURANT 3 years ago I think), and they also have their own Sushi chef, Yoshi, and "sous-sushi-chef" for lobster sashimi fresh from the tank.

Joe Forte? Good bang for your buck.

Coast... heard some good things about them, but have not tried it yet.

If you are inclined to drive to Richmond, Kirin is the best but they price their King crab at least 10% to 20% higher than other restaurants.

J & C Top Gun is a good value place to go for very good tasting and fresh king-crab with a large selection of sauces.

There is a Kirin in Downtown too, pricey though.

Side note, the sushi chefs at Bluewater all used to work for Kamei/Ebisu ...
