icbc write-off/value of car

quick question...do you guys know if icbc would consider gasket repairs ($800) for a write-off in a car accident?

the estimator didn't consider that when estimating the value of our car and i asked him over the phone but he said it might not get considered when i thought it did.

thanks!

I believe repairs are considered maintenance and the bill of the repair is rarely added to the value of the vehicle. Closest I've seen is a prorated amount back for new tires with a receipt

if repairs are maintenance - why are new tires considered?
