Horrendous accident 176th St & 32nd Ave.

Originally police said six were dead, they corrected themselves later and said five have died (children and adults).

It appears the driver of the white vehicle is in hospital and those in the other vehicle (black?) appeared to have all died upon impact. The only thing left is the engine.

Report said the impact and debris field is spread over a huge area....they even found a pair of sunglasses embedded in a light pole.

Area will be closed until 9pm tonight.

Is that the way to the US boarder? I think I have driven that road a number of times when going to the states.

There is one part there where if your coming out of the farm land and you want to head north you have to kind of blindly turn across the oncoming to get into the north bound lanes, when I worked out that way I saw at least 4 ppl tboned at the spot just before this light

Police initially thought six people were dead. They now say 3 adults and 2 children are dead. One man in his forties is in serious condition.

His life might as well be over too though...

If he survives, he'll wish he was dead...

The accident was likely caused by nothing more than a momentary lapse of concentration on his part, i feel for him...

Speed kills, people..

Please be careful, doesnt matter how good of a driver you are, you can not account for other peoples driving mentality....

SLOW DOWN!

RIP... poor young kids involved...

Momentary lapse of concentration?

Carr said the van was travelling at such a high velocity it was found approximately 200 metres west of the intersection.

that's not far from my old house. Been there lots of times and its a horrible intersection for making a turn. people can get moving pretty fast heading down 176th and while most respect the lights, some don't.

RIP to the family.
this is one of my greatest fears.
