Embed for the lazy:

Probably load shift to the rear of the plane, or improper loading of heavier goods in the tail section.

Holy crap, it was so eerie to see such a massive plane hang in the air momentarily before coming down.

OR maybe the pilot was like:

"CHECK THIS OUT GUYS!!!"

then moments later, "fuck."

yeah the load probably was not balanced... or not strapped down properly. maybe it slid to the back and... totally fucked the weight up.

I'm no pilot, but its takeoff angle seemed INCREDIBLY steep. Could a stall under such heavy load be the simple culprit?

This. An airliner does not have the thrust to sustain such a high Angle of Attack... I wonder how the hell that nose-up attitude happened?

^ steep due to obvious reason (Afghanistan) security,, seems like engine just stalled.. alot of airports need planes to make steep approach and take off, but in this case...looks steep...could be just the angle of recording..

Wow, looks like the plane had too much much weight, stalled and than crashed.

Cargo must've become loose and shifted all the weight to the back suddenly. Take-offs are the most stressful on the plane.

Yes, because date stamps on cheap dashcams are always the most accurate.

It was a National Air Cargo plane heading from Afghanistan to Dubai...

Definitely seems like a cargo shift, its happened before.
Apparently the pilot reported a stall and as you can see tried compensating for the yaw and looks like he did a decent job of getting the wings level and nose down but they were way too low to ever make a recovery.
Thats a very haunting video to watch.

More info can be found here:

Crash: National Air Cargo B744 at Bagram on Apr 29th 2013, lost height shortly after takeoff

Lol no. Most stressful on the engine, sorta.

Are you kidding me? He held the stall until he got a wing drop, that's pretty impressive considering the stick shaker comes on so early in that plane.

As for the steep take off angle, ya it's stupid steep. The only time that a 747 can "do" that is if it's empty. Talking to my sim instructor this semester and Cathay Pacific would sometimes be doing like 500fpm climbs out of Vancouver on a hot day with a full load of passengers.

What i'm thinking is that the cargo shifted so bad that no amount of elevator down could overcome the rearward cog

Push down, trim down, pull up trim up

If I was flying the plane. I would've broken the trim switch.
