Best prime rib/butcher shop in vancouver or richmond

Alright so it's my dads birthday tomorrow and I want to cook him a nice prime rib.
Any suggestions on where I can get a higher grade and well priced prime rib in richmond/vancouver?
I was thinking heringers in steveston but always open to other suggestions.

Thanks

Costco. AAA or Prime. I would call ahead of time to make sure they have it in stock.

I get my stuff from Supreme Meats (Burnaby), but they only have like AA-ish stuff on hand regularly.
They usually need 1-2 day's notice to bring in the AAA.

But the AA bone-in ribeye to me is plenty good and most importantly, CHEAP.
It's sitting around $7/lb since they raised their price.

I have had best results with low and slow, then sear at the end.
I find it maximizes your pink-to-grey ratio.

Get legit horseradish instead of the jarred stuff.

Thrifty foods sell AAA sterling silver beef. Shits goooood. Call and ask and get it banquet style. They cut the bones off and re-tie them back on so once it is done cooking the bones come off and make a good side, but the meat still gets all the flavor still from the extra fat and bone!

They will cut it for you if you go in to ask for it. If you can ask for the end with the larger cap on it. Forget what it is called but one end has a larger cap around the eye of the steak.

p.s.
I make a rub of herbs, salt, pepper and butter.
Sit your roast over a pile of veg. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

"Sterling silver" is the name of the company that process the cow. So that means nothing
Only the grade is notable.

Windsor Meats.

If you can't get there then Costco works just fine.

How close to SFU?
Couple of places on the Heights, Supreme is on 1st and Gilmore.

I have also just stood in front of the beef at H-Mart and just started for like 10 minutes. No joke, it looks that good there.

I'm living pretty close to Burnaby North Secondary right now

Supreme got good meat for BBQ? I always get these huge pork bones there for the soup.
What are the places near the Heights area?
Any good compared to the Costco beef?

Yes, If he cares to know where it comes from then he can search. Rather then just say AAA with no credibility where it comes from.

Thanks though!
