importing goods from china anyone have experience with this, or owns a container? |
what kind of info are you looking for? I looked into this once a upon a time and might be able to help you a little. |
Don't do it |
Chinese-Importing.com: The Leading Chinese Importing Site on the Net This is a huge topic so you need to be a bit more specific. Also, you might be a little confused with how international shipping works. First, almost no one buys a container. Your freight forwarder will arrange for the container to be used in China. When your goods arrive in Vancouver, you empty your goods and return the container back to port. And with all of that being said, if you're just starting off, you probably don't want to import an entire container. You can rent simply part of the container (be it for a pallet, 10 pallets, whatever) and it's essentially a pro-rated rate. |
