Krusty Burger, KwikE Mart & Moe's Tavern open at Universal Orlando Resort

Pretty cool if you're a fan of the Simpsons.

Quote:
Just a week after announcing it, Universal Orlando Resort has expanded the Springfield area near their Simpson's Ride. Now you can visit real-life versions of Krusty Burger, the Frying Dutchman, Luigi's Pizza, and more (though most look suspiciously like a food court with a new facade tacked on) — including the iconic Moe's Tavern.

This is just the first phase of an expansion that will include Kang and Kodos rides, a Duff factory, and the Jebediah Springfield statue. Whether this will interfere with their planned expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is unknown, but the thought of giant-headed Simpsons characters in a gang fight against a bunch of broom-wielding maniacs in robes would absolutely make the trip to Orlando, Florida worthwhile. — Robert Chan, Yahoo! That's pretty cool. Food looks pretty bad, but cool nonetheless..

reminds me of when the Simpsons movie came out, and they transformed a few 7-11 into Kwik-e-marts.

They had collectable slurpee "squishee" cups too.

Exactly this. The generation that was raised on the golden years of the Simpsons are now old enough and secure in our income enough to want to go relive our youths.

Too late from the show's perspective. Just in time for corporate profiteers.

OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!

*DIES*

The Simpsons has been my most favorite cartoon since the beginning of time. Although the past couple years it has gone wayyy downhill...I can't deny the laughs I've had from this masterpiece that is The Simpsons.

True story: the name Miss Crayon was actually inspired by the episode when they find out Homer has a crayon stuck in his brain.

Finally. "Dang it, Dale."
