Moar RS Epic Hockey Nights Mentioned this in the Gear Thread, but making this more announced! We need a third round of RS hockey! Mixed opinions on the location so let's here what everyone's opinion is. Personally i like Hillcrest Arena. The facility is new and the ice is a bit soft but pretty good. I will actually be down for this one and Burnaby 8 rinks would be perfect if it's not on the east side of the water. Friday's normally work the best for me but what ever day it is I will be there. |
I'd be down to play in Burnaby at 8 rinks. Played there last night for the first time, and it's a pretty cool facility. In net, or out. I'm game for either. |

There is not much at 8 Rinks right now for bookings during the week. Best time i found was a Sunday night at 10pm-11:15pm on June 23rd If remember correctly they still have two rinks down for maintenance so the other 4 rinks are pretty busy. Bill Copeland is going to call me back about rentals. But i do not know if they remove the ice after the winter season. |

You are not the only white man playing. Bill Copeland has drained all of their rinks so no deal there. How late are some of you willing to play. There are a lot of 11pm ice times available at 8 rinks but that seems a bit late for a weekday!? |

What about the valley? We have 5 rinks in Langley, and 11 ice surfaces. Two of which are right off the highway. There's also GPF in delta, just off the Alex Fraser bridge. I know it's nice to get an ice time near where you live, but the lack of ice surface and 11pm ice times is going to push people away rather than bring them together. You can get 1.5hrs of ice @ 8pm at Sportsplex in Langley for $190, and that's with a week's notice. Makes it a lot easier to get guys to come out when the cost is only $10 and it's at a reasonable hour. just my opinion, cause I want to see this happen. I've played in net for 9 out of the last 11 days, and I want MOAR!!!!! :fuckyea: |
I am down. GOALIE ONLY. LOCATION: Anywhere in vancouver. I'm by Victoria and marine Drive. So RIC/8Rinks/North Van CanLan or whereever is good. TIME:tues-saturday after 5. Any time any other day. |
What are peoples opinions on Langley. It is far, but ice would be cheaper. It's quite a ways for drop in for the people in Richmond and Vancouver. |
I would prefer Vancouver or Burnaby but Langley isn't too bad for me. I am definitely in for this drop in! |
