Using ENTROPAY to shop US websites

Just curious, its a hassle to get prepaid US visa or get an American friend to buy certain things from US retailers (UNIQLO)

So has anyone used Entropay for US shopping online?
Yes there are fees(4%), and it appears people has used this to purchase from Google US store

So has anyone here used it? just looking for a second opinion

Just get a Visa debit card and you won't have to worry about the hassle. Also will save you so much hassle not having to take out US money when going north of the border.

I've used it 3 or 4 times over the last year. No issues with it.

Entropay does not work with the US Uniqlo Store, neither does a Visa Debit.

Speaking as someone that does almost no shopping in Canada, you can use your Canadian credit cards just fine. You can also use your debit card if it's a Visa/Mastercard debit.

No fees...you just have to pay the exchange, which is sometimes a point or so worse than market.

I buy off Amazon US, B&H and tons of other retailers using my Canadian address as the billing address and Point Roberts as the shipping address. Never encountered a problem.

Why would there not be any fees? Most cards charge a foreign transaction fee of 2.5% (other than the amazon rewards visa).
I tried to purchase from advance auto parts yesterday with my canadian CC and having Point Roberts as my billing address. I've gotten it to work once or twice before, but my order went into payment review immediately and got cancelled today

some places let you put in a billing address and a shipping address separately.

I put in Canadian Billing and US shipping it works every time.

Yeah that should work 100% of the time but some places won't let you select another country other than USA

Then...lie? Use Pt Roberts as your billing?

Where the heck are you guys shopping? I don't remember a single US online retailer I've had trouble buying from and shipping to Pt Bob.

Yea Nike and Uniqlo are two where you NEED american credit cards to order. They check based on the credit card number and not your billing address.

You can call into to Nike and they'll process your Canadian credit cards and it'll go through no problem. The only thing is it takes 20 minutes each time lol. I haven't tried calling into Uniqlo yet though.

The MC/Visa gift cards don't work on Uniqlo either not really sure why, it might be the card I'm using. But if someone has successfully used a credit gift card can you let me know which one you used

Is it more convenient to buy a prepaid US MC/Visa and use that to purchase online items from US sites?
