P0134 after replacing O2 sensor

So I opted for a cheaper O2 sensor once I started getting the P0135 code. Tried cleaning the original sensor but kept getting P0134. What are the chances its because of a cheaper sensor opposed to OEM? Any other things I should check for before buying an OEM sensor?

Each time I clear the code the car seems to run OK until the Check engine light comes back on, each time the light returns the car starts to run sluggish and feels like not enough fuel is entering the system.

Car is an 04 civic. 183xxx kms.

Your car is entering "limp" mode with the CEL. I'd say the chances are slim it's cuz of a cheap sensor... An O2 sensor's a pretty simply part.

Just replaced O2 sensor - STILL have CEL - P0135 - Honda-Tech

"Do you have the ULEV ex model? It will say ULEV on the valve cover. If you have the ULEV, the autozone o2 sensor will never fix it because the ULEV engine takes a special O2 sensor that is dealer only and its expensive. Have experienced this on several occassions."
