Hit and run lookout - 70 year old man dead

Happened roughly a week ago, but now there's video, and RS is excellent at these things.

This was in the new-west area, right around the Cumberland/10th Ave area.

Black coupe hits cyclist, killed on-scene, and then flees.

Video from surveillance camera shows a black two door (looks like an RSX) run, and then a grey sedan (8th gen civic) follows, sees accident, then reverses and runs.

RAW: Vehicles of interest - CBC News Vancouver at 6 - CBC Player

If you know/see an RSX with damage to the front, please report to police.

Spoiler!

the first car looks like an RSX to me too. I think it's an 02-04.

Horrid.

Was he wearing a helmet? (Not saying that would have changed the outcome, just genuinely asking).

Really sickening that they ran. Scum. Pussies. Trash.

This happened a block from my gfs house. Was over when it happened. Apparently the man didn't have a helmet. Sucks that the person ran away -.- hopefully they catch them

Is it the black RSX or the brown/grey car that was reversing??

I saw a damage black RSX today but it was to the rear driver side... lights damage and hole in bumper...

It could have been the black RSX had hit the cyclist after the video footage. Then you see the Grey civic reversing away as they saw the accident.

That's what I got from the article...
