BMW code scanner

My e92 335 is constantly going into limp mode and I can't seem to pull any codes with my generic innova scanner. Does anyone have a peake or can scanner that can pull BMW shadow/hidden codes and can help me out!
Thanks

Does your car have this port that corresponds to the link below?

Compatibility

(Sorry for asking so many questions. I have a Peake scanner but want to be sure that mine works with your car.)

Edit: Holy, I didn't know you live in Surrey!

maybe your HPFP is going bad.
I went from a e92 328i which was very reliable to a 335i, although definitely fun to drive gave me numerous headaches. Now I drive a e92 m3, and I love it.

I suggest you save up and just go for an e92 m3

AND OP you will probably get more answers if you go to e90post

Car is not exhibiting any signs of HPFP problem, I came from a e90 325 also.
LOL priorities at the moment another car is the least of my concerns especially with gas at 1.5. e90post canada section is dead.

I am having a similar issue, does reading codes confirm what's causing the limp condition?

that's the reason most people would read codes, unless you like just seeing random numbers and letters
