Skiipi, does SC carry the Rocket dryer?

I'll be needing a new dryer for my gear in the near future as my current shock doctor dryer bag is 3+ years old and the heater is not working as good as it once did.

Yes a couple of our stores do...but if I rmb correctly they sell quite well, so I am not sure about the stock levels.

I would check for you, but I'm in alberta now and no longer has access to BC's inventory levels...

They carry it. Usually at the Richmond Center location I think.

Call ahead to double check. I don't see them as much as I used to.

So Skiipi,

I know you answered this before but I can't remember the answer. And no, please don't think any less of me for asking.
Can I buy it first and then get a price adjustment at the sale?

ymmv...some managers will do it for you no hassle
some managers will require you to put up a fuss
and some managers will bend only if you call into head office to complain

in the end... they know you will return the product, and rebuy, unless you used it. either way, you can always buy the second, and return it with the original receipt

only works if the item has no serial #....
but yea for the most part I dont see a problem w/ it....i mean our policy is a 30 day price protection guarantee, but some managers interpret friends/family as a exclusion for some odd reason.

but yea, in the end you can definitely do it, some managers might just make you jump through hoops for it (and those people shouldn't work in retail imo.....)

Just in case anyone was wondering, I was able to score a Rocket equipment dryer from the Strawberry Hill HE.
Thanks to Skiipi for letting us know about the F&F sale.
And of course thanks to BallPeenHammer for introducing this dryer to us as well.

Doesn't help that was EXACTLY what I wanted to buy had I known about this... shit.

Probably going to pick one up full price tonight. How much is it full price at Sportchek?
Can't seem to find the product listed on the website.

They still have 2 as of yesterday. Only other stores to have them was in Penticton or somewhere else far away.

They are on sale for $89.95 right now.

You can try calling them and ask if the manager will be nice and give you 10% off. They did that for me yesterday because I couldn't make the trip out to Surrey to pick it up till Saturday.

Might have worked because you called in yesterday to "claim" it during the sale period.
But if I call now, the sale has ended.

Is the $90 with or without the 10% discount?

Might not be worth the trip cause I live pretty far from Strawberry Hill.

went.. and ended up empty handed.. the only thing that intrigued me were the warrior dynasty's that were on sale... but i don't need a stick so it would still be just burning 100 bucks. might have gotten it if they had the gionta in 75 flex though ehhe

$90 was before discount.
Regular price was $110 I think.
