getting sunglasses tinted

I want them to be darker..any places in vancouver tint sunglasses?

Do you mean by making the lenses darker so people can't see your eyes, or making them darker so it projects darker? If you're looking to make them darker so people can't see your eyes, there is no way that I know of. As for the later, you can go into Lenscrafters and ask them to apply a polarized coating onto the lenses.

you can buy replacement lenses that are different shades

im not sure about altering the lenses that are already in place though except as nubtub noted in getting some protective coatings applied

You will have to get a new set of lenses tinted for you. Lenses that come with sunglasses are very hard to retint.

What does Lenscrafters usually charge for applying a polarized coating onto lenses?

Lenscrafters only makes new sets of lenses. You're looking at $200+ For polarized. They will not work on existing lenses.
