Club Monaco suits are more like suit separates. The fabrics are decent, but to me when put together, they don't strike me as proper suits.

One place I would suggest is Suit Supply. Unfortunately they don't have stores close by (the nearest is San Fran), but their fabrics are quite food for what you pay (~$500). Shipping is cheap (~$10 per suit) and if the suit you get doesn't fit you correctly, you could always return it. As long as the jacket fits you in the shoulders and upper chest, you can have any local tailor make adjustments.

Good luck.

Sweet
Will check it out.
Stinks that I wear 44L/36. All the paired suits doesn't work.

Hard to find well priced and good quality suit separates under $700

You could also try Brooks Brothers for uncommon sizing. Only one store locally, but their online store is quite good, deals can be had in clearance for unusual sizes, and the craftsmanship is still decent in their regular line (not the outlet "346" line).
