just do it yourself, trial and error. you will learn something new. I didnt wanna spend hundreds just to pay someone else to open up my lights and fuck around. Read up DIY forums with pics and did it myself, you will feel accomplished after you look at your own project. Not that hard, preheat oven to 300degrees, pop headlights in for 5mins and start prying it apart, just mask the parts you dont want painted with tape. buy some extra butyl glue just in case you need after.

With all the DIY shit on the internet, people really need to (wo)/man up and fuck around with their cars once in a while. It saves time, money and hassle, and you feel a lot better about working yourself. I'm not saying throw down an engine swap in a weekend for your first project, but start with some simple stuff like this. Its fucking fun!

did mine at home with my dad
they're not perfect, but didn't spend more than $20 and it feels good knowing that they were done at home

On the topic, how would you guys go about cleaning the interior of the headlight lens if it has a bit of oxidation?

The glass you mean? 0000 steel wool and soapy water.

^ I think he means the chromed plastic on the interior. If so, i would sand with some 600 grit before painting it black.
